Who is this woman?

When I think about it, communication has always been “my thing”.
That’s why I’m delighted to be connecting the dots for the first time on this website.
As Steve Jobs would say: connecting the dots.

Being able to use the various experiences I’ve had for my clients, to play on the communication keyboard and to have many registers at my disposal is helpful for my work and beneficial for my clients – and it’s also really fun :).

 

2006 - Graduation newspaper

Together with a friend, I generated record amounts of sponsorship income for the graduation newspaper.
We proceeded very strategically, had a great storyline and, of course, convinced with charm ;).

2009 - Board Member for Strategy & Communication

I continued in 2009 with a board position for Strategy & Communication at a student finance company(www.studges.de) at my university(www.uni-wh.de).

2010 - Working student for communication

In various working student jobs, I built websites, designed and organized events and placed Google Ads.

 

2013 - Website relaunch & strategy

From 2013, I was assistant to the management of Witten/Herdecke University and my first project was the website relaunch.

Shortly afterwards, the 2020 strategy was added, which I was centrally involved in both its development and, above all, its communication.

2016 - Head of Comm.<br /> & Marketing

The first department (Marketing) was added in 2016, followed by the second department (Communications) in 2019, which I ended up managing as a Communications & Marketing department with 13 permanent and almost 20 student employees.

Together with my team, I was responsible for all communication: from internal communication, press relations, strategic communication, crisis communication, website, social media, Google Ads, sales, events to the texts and speeches of the management.

2021 - Opening of new building

My last and biggest project was the opening of one of the most sustainable university buildings in Germany, which I was involved in designing as an assistant and whose opening I meticulously planned and implemented with my team.
From participant management to the speeches and moderation.

I and my team prepared the internal and external university public for the move and the opening weeks before the event under the motto ” Future Space”.

 

2022 - Independence

My diverse experience now helps me to be a sounding board, idea provider and sparring partner for my clients.
Both the sometimes challenging project and management situations as well as the professional breadth for which I have been responsible have proven to be very profitable on several occasions.

And in private?

In my private life, I am a runner, I enjoy hiking, nature, community and wellness, I am a health coach, I work a lot on personal development and I am interested in politics .

My principles

It’s important to me not only to provide my customers with good professional advice and support, but also to make them feel comfortable and taken seriously.

I would condense the “how” of my work into the following four points.

 

Listen

My customers already bring a lot with them. My first task is to understand where they stand, what they want and what ideas, successful and failed attempts they already have in their luggage.

My approach is always to integrate everything that is already there into the further process.

Resonance

On the basis of what I have understood, images, structures, ideas and additions usually emerge in my head.

I offer this to my customers and we continue to think about it together. Until a coherent picture is created.

Authenticity

It is very important to me that my clients can be with me with their whole being. Of course we talk about goals, figures, facts, measures, etc. BUT: Whenever we talk about effectiveness, visibility, success and our own and others’ standards, things can get pretty substantial. All of this is welcome.

The utmost confidentiality is a matter of course for me.

Goal orientation

Probably one of my most important principles is that I advise as if it were my own company. If I think something doesn’t make sense, isn’t promising, etc., then I say so openly.

Based on the goals and framework conditions that we discuss together, we select suitable (!) measures and not simply “what is done today”.
